Andaz Delhi, by Hyatt collaborates with India City Walks

The relaunch brings together Andaz Delhi’s passion for immersive local exploration with India City Walks' expertise in heritage tourism

Andaz Delhi, by Hyatt has reintroduced the 401 Experiences in an enhanced, permanent format through an exclusive partnership with India City Walks, a three-time National Tourism Award-winning brand. This relaunch brings together Andaz Delhi’s passion for immersive local exploration with India City Walks' expertise in heritage tourism, delivering a seamless, tech-enabled experience for its guests.

Inspired by the hotel’s signature book, 401 Reasons to Fall in Love with Delhi, the experiences are designed to engage travellers in Delhi’s rich cultural fabric, blending history, art, and local traditions. A new digital booking platform, developed by India City Walks, makes these journeys more accessible than ever. The app, installed on iPads for guest interaction at Andaz Delhi, provides an intuitive way for visitors to explore and reserve their preferred experiences. Two specially trained hotel champions will assist guests in navigating the platform, ensuring every visitor finds a journey that speaks to their interests.

This partnership marks a new milestone in Andaz Delhi’s ongoing commitment to offering unique, personalised guest experiences. As the first hotel in India to integrate a tech-enabled booking system for curated tours, Andaz Delhi aims to simplify the planning process while elevating guest satisfaction. The collaboration with India City Walks adds further credibility, with the brand’s long-standing reputation for delivering award-winning heritage walks, including accolades such as the Hall of Fame award from the Ministry of Tourism and recognition as the Best City Discovery Company at the South Asian Travel Awards.

“This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision of offering truly immersive, personalised stays for our guests,” stated Hardip Marwah, General Manager, Andaz Delhi. “We are thrilled to collaborate with India City Walks in re-launching the 401 Experiences, a signature initiative that allows guests to engage meaningfully with the heart and soul of Delhi. By integrating digital solutions and thoughtful storytelling, we aim to enhance every moment of our guests' journey, whether they are within our hotel or exploring the city’s cultural treasures.”

This collaborative initiative offers a range of curated activities that showcase the essence of Delhi’s heritage. Guests can embark on a customised rickshaw tour through Old Delhi, wandering through bustling bazaars, exploring narrow lanes, and discovering the architectural marvels that lie at every corner. The journey begins at the iconic Red Fort and winds through the vibrant markets of Chandni Chowk and Chawri Bazaar before concluding at the modern Chowk, where old meets new.

Another captivating option includes a walk through the majestic Qutub Minar complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its intricate craftsmanship and mediaeval architecture. Guests can also delve into the city’s Sufi

heritage with a guided tour of Nizamuddin Dargah, exploring centuries-old spiritual traditions and uncovering the stories of iconic figures like Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya and Amir Khusro.

For those seeking a more comprehensive experience, the Delhi in a Day tour offers a full-day itinerary that includes Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and a drive through the grand avenues of Lutyens' Delhi. Guests can explore Dilli Haat, enjoy the serenity of Agrasen Ki Baoli, and immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere of Connaught Place.

Each tour is thoughtfully designed to provide an optimal experience, with services such as pre-booked monument tickets and on-the-go dining options like gourmet bento boxes and picnic hampers from Andaz Delhi. Guests can also book hotel cars to enhance their comfort throughout the day. Depending on their schedule they can choose which tours work best for them with each tour’s duration mentioned on the platform.
