Akasa Air has commenced operations from Prayagraj connecting it to Mumbai with daily non-stop flights. The inaugural flight on May 25, 2024, departed from Prayagraj airport at 13:40hrs arriving at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 16:00hrs. The new route strengthens Akasa Air’s presence in Uttar Pradesh as Prayagraj becomes the fourth city from the state to be added to the airline’s growing network.
In addition to its rich literary and artistic heritage, Prayagraj is also an important economic, cultural, and political centre. It welcomes travellers to discover its past stories, traditions, and experience the melting pot of history, learning and culture.
