Airbnb has introduced the Co-Host Network, making it easier for homeowners to manage their listings with the help of experienced local co-hosts. This new feature aims to assist those who wish to earn from hosting but lack the time to manage bookings themselves.
With over 10,000 co-hosts available across 10 countries, the Co-Host Network uses a personalised ranking system to match hosts with co-hosts. Recommendations are based on factors like location, experience, and home type. Co-hosts have an impressive track record, with 73 per cent being Superhosts and 84 per cent managing “Guest Favorite” properties.
“With the Co-Host Network, we’re taking the work out of hosting,” said Brian Chesky, Airbnb co-founder and CEO. “Starting today, you provide the home, and we’ll provide an exceptional co-host. For decades, travel apps have been one-size-fits-all. We’re changing that today, with dosens of new features, this is the beginning of a more personalised Airbnb,” he added.
Additionally, Airbnb has rolled out more than 50 upgrades to enhance user experience, including personalised recommendations for guests based on past trips. For hosts, there are over 20 new features, such as pricing tips based on similar listings, quick reply templates for guest messages, and an earnings dashboard that allows hosts to track their income more efficiently.
