Air India, has announced additional flights to Kolkata from four major Indian cities to accommodate increased travel demand during the Durga Puja festivities.
Starting September 20, 2024, Air India will operate daily, non-stop flights to Kolkata from Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The airline has also increased its frequency of flights to Kolkata from Delhi, effective August 15, 2024, and from Mumbai, effective September 25, 2024. With these new additions, the frequency on the Delhi-Kolkata route will increase from 28 to 35 weekly flights, while the Mumbai-Kolkata route will see an increase from 21 to 28 weekly flights.
These additional flights have been scheduled at convenient times, providing travellers with more options and ease as they plan to visit family and friends during the festive season. Air India’s flights to and from Kolkata are also timed for seamless connections via its hubs in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, facilitating travel to and from international destinations such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
