Windmill Real Estate Lease & Management Services, part of Uniglobe Holdings Ajman, has announced a strategic partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to open two new hotels in Abu Dhabi under the Ramada by Wyndham and Wyndham brands. Both hotels are set to undergo extensive renovations and are scheduled to open in 2025 and 2026.
The new Ramada by Wyndham hotel will be situated in the Al Sharia area along the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway, just 22 kilometres from Abu Dhabi International Airport and 50 kilometres from downtown Abu Dhabi. The hotel will also be located near the new Hindu Temple and the upcoming Abu Dhabi Cultural District. The Wyndham-branded hotel will be positioned in the Ghatoot area, 8 kilometres from the Dubai border and approximately 60 kilometres from both Abu Dhabi International Airport and downtown Dubai. The property will feature a marina with docking facilities for private yachts and boats.
"We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world's largest hotel franchise company, for our two upcoming hotels in Abu Dhabi" stated Frajus Thampi Cheruvathur of Windmill Real Estate Lease & Management Services. "In collaboration with Wyndham's esteemed team, and our talented interior designer, Rahul Somarajan from Arcen Consultants, we are dedicated to elevating our hotels to the highest international standards. We eagerly anticipate welcoming guests under this new banner in the coming months."
Abu Dhabi, the UAE's capital, is a significant hub for politics, culture, and commerce. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts already operates six properties in the city under its Ramada, TRYP, Howard Johnson, Hawthorn Suites, and La Quinta brands.
“We are delighted to collaborate with Uniglobe Holdings on these three exciting projects, further expanding our portfolio of 22 operational hotels across the UAE,” said Govind Mundra, Head of Development - Middle East & Africa at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. “We look forward to a successful partnership with Frajus and his team, not just for these hotels, but for many more projects in the future, in line with Wyndham’s mission to make travel accessible for all.”
