Vistara becomes India's first airline to offer Wi-Fi on international flights

Customers can avail up to 20 minutes of free connectivity on Vistara's international flights

Vistara Airlines, a joint venture between the Tata group and Singapore Airlines, has announced a service enhancement of about 20 minutes of complimentary Wi-Fi internet connectivity on international flights. This initiative, which is available on Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft, makes Vistara the first Indian airline to offer such a benefit, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing the passenger experience.

Passengers travelling in any of the three cabin classes can now enjoy 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi, allowing them to stay connected while soaring at 35,000 feet. This service is particularly beneficial for those who wish to purchase extended Wi-Fi plans, as it facilitates the process by allowing payments with Indian credit or debit cards. The system supports receiving one-time passwords via email, ensuring a smooth transition for passengers opting for additional internet access during their flight.

Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer, Vistara said, "At Vistara, we are committed to constantly enhancing the experience of our customers. We are, yet again, delighted to lead the way and become the first Indian airline to offer complimentary Wi-Fi on international flights across all cabins. We are confident that customers will appreciate this value addition that aims to make their Vistara journey more convenient, productive, and seamless"
