TREEBO HOTELS announced the launch of ‘InstaConnectWiFi’ - a technology feature that would allow the guests to automatically connect to the hotels’ WiFi network at over 50 Treebo properties. InstaConnectWiFi is an innovative solution that solves an industry-wide problem. It will soon be launched across its portfolio of 300 Treebo hotels.
Commenting on the launch, Khilan Haria, Head-Product, Treebo Hotels said “‘InstaConnectWiFi’ is a testimony of our commitment to deliver unmatched high-quality guest experience at every touch-point at our properties. Our guests can now accessWiFi in a simple and efficient manner wherein the only input needed from them is their mobile number - just one time. For all subsequent stays across the Treebo network, guests enjoy zero touch WiFi access with no action on their part. Just as we seamlessly auto-connect to our home WiFi every time we open the door, now our guests will be connected seamlessly to the WiFi network every time they stay at a Treebo hotel.”
Haria ensures that this solution will be secure as any other WiFi connection. Speaking about the cost involved he said, “This is a solution, which is very cost effective from the ROI perspective, our expectation is that not a single guest at Treebo should have a problem with the WiFi connectivity, this however will help in guest retention that will ultimately show some growth to the revenue.”
Treebo has, since the beginning, developed and implemented unique technology products to enable a hassle-free guest experience and has also been recognized for it at global platforms. Treebo also launched its Android and iOS mobile app earlier this year to make hotel bookings seamless. Last year, Treebo launched its property management app-Bumblebee which helps manage reservations, check-in and billing.
“We will continue making such efforts for making the guest experience more fruitful at Treebo. We have continued to make investments in two specific areas, one while booking at Treebo and staying at Treebo, we will continue making investments is several technological areas,”Haria concluded. In August, Treebo Hotels had raised $34 million led by Hong Kong-based hedge funds Ward Ferry Management and Karst Peak Capital.
