The eighth edition of the prestigious BW Hotelier Indian Hospitality Summit & Awards (IHA 2024) commenced with a tribute to Ratan Tata for his immense contribution to the hospitality industry in India. Hosted a BWH Spotlight: Sustainability in Cleaning on the topic of Sustainable Cleaning: Innovation for a Greener Hospitality Sector, moderated by Dr Nitin Shankar Nagrale, Founder & General Secretary – HPMF; CEO India and Emerging Markets – QualityNZ.
Indira Paul, Area Director Brand Implementation, Quality Management & Housekeeping, RHG, stated, “At RHG, we target Net zero by 2050 with a complete scientific approach. But we have planned to achieve this milestone by 2030.”

“Despite being an emerging country, we are giving very less to the world, we are the least carbon producing country”. We collaborate with partners, who come up with waste management, energy saving equipments, demand control to put our efforts to this step,” emphasised Rohit Wangnoo, Executive Director, Wang Hospitality Equipment Pvt Ltd on collaborations and efforts.
