Sterling opens heritage resort in Badami, Karnataka

Sterling has announced the opening of Sterling Banashree Badami, a new resort located in the historical city of Badami, Karnataka. This 10-acre property features spacious accommodations designed for both relaxation and adventure, with 23 villa-styled cottages equipped with modern amenities and sit-outs.

The region is known for its ancient architectural heritage, including rock-cut cave temples from the Chalukya dynasty and proximity to UNESCO World Heritage sites like Pattadakal. The resort emphasises natural beauty, set among mango, coconut, and neem groves.

Dining options include Vatapi, a multicuisine restaurant highlighting local Saoji dishes. The resort also caters to corporate events and weddings, offering a pillarless hall that accommodates up to 300 guests.
