SpiceJet expands domestic network with eight new routes

SpiceJet's recent network growth aligns with the government’s UDAN scheme, aimed at improving regional air travel

SpiceJet is set to expand its domestic footprint with the launch of eight new routes, enhancing connectivity across several Indian cities. Beginning November 15, 2024, the airline will add new flights linking Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad, while also connecting Ahmedabad with Pune. This latest expansion comes shortly after SpiceJet’s October rollout of 32 new routes, including two international flights between Delhi and Phuket, demonstrating the airline’s commitment to expanding its services and reach.

“We are excited to announce the launch of new flights from Jaipur to Varanasi, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad, as well as from Ahmedabad to Pune, providing our passengers with greater flexibility and convenience. These new flights reflect our commitment to supporting passenger demand across tier-II cities and beyond. With our expanded winter schedule, including international and UDAN routes, we aim to provide our customers with greater convenience, affordability, and seamless travel experiences,” said Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet.

SpiceJet's recent network growth aligns with the government’s UDAN scheme, aimed at improving regional air travel. As part of this initiative, the airline began flights last month from Shivamogga in Karnataka to Chennai and Hyderabad, and introduced double daily services between Chennai and Kochi.
