Shweta Hinduja takes helm as HR Director for Marriott properties

Shweta Hinduja has taken over as the new Multi-Property Director of Human Resources at JW Marriott Pune & Courtyard by Marriott Hinjewadi. Hinduja began her career with Hyatt in 2004 and has an extensive background in the hospitality industry, beginning as a management trainee in the front office at the Hyatt Regency Mumbai hotel.

Hinduja, throughout her career, has shown a focus on talent development and people management. She took on roles such as Training Officer at Hyatt before joining the Marriott family in 2019 as the Director of Human Resources at the Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel. Subsequently, she grew within the company, serving as the Cluster Director of Human Resources for Marriott properties under the management of 'SAMHI Hotels.' In 2020, Hinduja received the Marriott APEC HR Resilience Award.
