Sarovar Hotels appoints Mielle Batliwala as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources
Sarovar Hotels and Resorts recently named Mielle Batliwala as the new Assistant Vice President for Human Resources. With over two decades of experience in the field, Batliwala has a proven track record of success, previously holding leadership roles at Marriott International.
Her previous assignments with Marriott International involved overseeing Human Resources portfolios at various Marriott hotels in cities such as Mumbai, Goa, Pune, and Delhi, as well as their corporate offices.
In her new role at Sarovar Group’s Corporate Office, Batliwala will take charge of group-wide responsibilities, including talent acquisition, development, and retention; employee relations; compensation and benefits; and performance management.
Mielle Batliwala has garnered recognition for her achievements in the HR sector, receiving awards such as "100 Top HR Minds in India (2018)," the "Alice S Marriott Award for Excellence in Community Service (2015)," Continent Human Resources Leader of the Year-Asia Pacific (2011), and Global Human Resources Manager of the Year (2007).
