RANJITH PREMRAJ has been appointed Director of People and Culture (otherwise known as Director of Human Resources) of Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru scheduled to open in the ‘Silicon Valley of India’ in mid-2019.
Ranjith has had a glowing career with the Four Seasons brand for over 13 years across various locations. Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru is his 7thproperty and 4thpre-opening experience with the luxury brand.
Ranjith first joined Four Seasons in 2006 as one of the core members of the pre-opening team at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai as Human Resources Manager. It was the brand’s first foray into the Indian subcontinent. Further to that, he was sent on a cross exposure to Four Seasons Hotel Singapore for an initiation to the brand’s culture and work environment, a post which he worked with two properties in the Maldives and two properties in Dubai, UAE.
Ranjith did his Master of Business Administration specializing in Human Resources from Manipal Academy of Higher Education India.
While he possesses hands-on experience in a gamut of human resource functions such as training & development, employee relations and recruitment, it is really the trailblazing ‘culture carrier’ role that is quintessential to his role.
“We are essentially a people centric company. Individuals who are naturally warm, friendly, have that certain flair and pizzazz do catch our attention. A smile is something that easily connects people, so we look for someone who has a big smile. The signature Four Seasons smile,” sums up Ranjith Premraj, when asked about the recruitment and service ethos of the new Four Seasons address in the Garden City.
