Prakash Shankar takes helm as General Manager at Lyfe Hotels in Bhubaneswar

Lyfe Hotels, a part of The World Hotels and Resorts, has appointed Prakash Shankar as the General Manager for its newly launched property in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. With over 22 years of experience in the Indian hospitality sector, Shankar will lead the hotel's operations, focusing on efficiency and guest experiences.

Having a diverse background with renowned hotel brands such as Taj, Marriott, Zuri, Carlson, and Radisson, he has demonstrated success in pre-opening, rebranding, and managing operations across India. In his role as general manager at Lyfe Hotels, he will oversee various tasks to ensure the effective functioning of the hotel.

Speaking on the occasion, Sonal Sahoo, Director and Promoter, Lyfe Hotels, The World Hotels and Resorts, said, “We are delighted to welcome Prakash Shankar to our family and warmly congratulate him on becoming the General Manager of Lyfe Hotels. An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, and holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University, Shankar brings skills such as strategic planning, quality assurance, general administration, resource management, P&L management, and training and development to his new role.
