Meenakshi Prabhakar takes over as Director-HR at The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences

With an extensive career spanning over three decades, Meenakshi Prabhakar has been appointed as the new Director of Human Resources at The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences. Prior to joining The Leela Family, she was associated with various brands including The Oberoi New Delhi, Radisson Hotel Worldwide, the Grand Hyatt Delhi, Sita World Travel and Kuoni. 

Prabhakar's journey has been filled with challenges and learnings from the changing facets of business and the world around. an MSc in Psychology with a Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, she will play a pivotal role in reorganising companies, leading HR processes, suggesting inventive HR solutions and strengthening The Leela Family.

Throughout her career, she has been a driving force in implementing HR policy formulations. Her remarkable achievements include working with numerous of the best-known names in the industry, like IHG Hotels at Crown Plaza Today Gurgaon. Prabhakar’s primary skill set boasts agreements through collective bargaining and optimises work efficiency through strategies like piece-rate wages and reduced overtime. She also spent six years with Accor Hotels. Additionally, she successfully established and played a pivotal role in initiating Myriad Hotels in her career span.

The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences believes that she will assume a pivotal role in human resources, leading strategically and implementing a comprehensive HR approach across the group, which will consistently support and enhance the hotel's broader business strategy by fostering the growth and well-being of its entire workforce.
