Mario Caramella appointed as Executive Chef at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon

The Grand Hyatt, Gurgaon, announces the appointment of Mario Caramella as Executive Chef. Caramella, with a culinary career spanning over four decades, brings extensive experience to the establishment. His notable achievements include contributing to the success of 14 restaurants and 1600 rooms at the Grand Hyatt Dream Tower in Jeju, South Korea. 

As Executive Chef at the Hyatt Regency Phuket, Caramella focused on revitalising the culinary department, achieving high hygiene standards, and reducing food waste. His leadership led to an outstanding culinary operation at the resort. 

Caramella's entrepreneurial spirit was evident when he founded Initially Restaurant in Singapore, emphasising authentic Italian cuisine. Collaborations with Michelin-starred guest chefs enriched the restaurant's offerings. 

In previous roles at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, and the Bali Hyatt, Caramella's culinary expertise and team leadership contributed to the reputation of these establishments as culinary destinations. 

In his new role at the Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, Caramella aims to turn ordinary ingredients into extraordinary experiences. The team is confident that his dedication to the art of cooking and innovative approach will elevate the culinary offerings.
