KAPIL CHOPRA has been known to invest in startups and is the Chairman of the board for EazyDiner — an app that lets you book reservations for dining out in restaurants and hotels in India and Dubai.
He believes in taking restaurant dining to a different level where one can enjoy exclusive discounts across all restaurants over the country.
Speaking about the innovation in luxury hospitality space at the 6th Hotel Operations Summit India (HOSI) in Delhi, organised by Hotelivate, Chopra said, “Apart from the luxury experiential spaces that the world has to offer, it’s time to think, reinvent and create a new luxury brand in this already-branded hotel world. I have created one and this would be a tribute to all hoteliers which will be unveiled in October this year.”
Not divulging much about this new venture he said that the hospitality industry has seen some great changes over the past decade with new technologies and initiatives starting to have an impact on the customer experience in the sector.
Chopra spoke about the role of an entrepreneur in the digital age and how brands need to be innovative to an extent. “Technology is a bridge between a consumer and restaurant to maintain guest data, and this inventory works as data for us. We are working towards achieving 30% cashless transactions on EazyDiner and this will happen in just a matter of time. We will soon introduce Artificial Intelligence where one can interact with chatbots, thus creating a digital infrastructure for our diners. We need to think exponentially and transform hospitality sector with great experience and service,” he added.
