JW Marriott Chandigarh appoints Chef Tenzin Phunstok as Executive Chef

JW Marriott Chandigarh has appointed Chef Tenzin Phunstok as the new Executive Chef, effective immediately. Chef Tenzin, with a career spanning over 17 years in the food and beverage and hospitality sectors, previously held the position of Executive Sous Chef since joining the JW Marriott Chandigarh team in September 2022.

In his new role, Chef Phunstok will be responsible for overseeing culinary operations and maintaining the standards associated with the JW brand. His focus will include improving operational efficiency and ensuring guest satisfaction. Before joining JW Marriott Chandigarh, he gained experience working with international brands such as IHG, Accor, and Taj.

Chef Phunstok expressed his feelings about the new role, saying, "I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to JW Marriott Chandigarh. My goal is to enhance culinary experiences and be a part of the hotel's culinary legacy."

Vishal Singh, the General Manager, acknowledged Chef Phunstok's expertise, stating, "Chef Tenzin has consistently demonstrated culinary excellence, and we are confident that under his supervision, the culinary standards at JW Marriott Chandigarh will reach new heights."
