Italian Chef Carmine De Filippo joins The Leela Ambience Gurugram

The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel and Residences has recently welcomed Italian Chef Carmine De Filippo to their culinary team. Chef Carmine officially became a part of the Leela family on December 12, 2023, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry. 

Hailing from Milan, Chef Carmine De Filippo has a diverse background in catering, with experiences at various establishments globally, including the Westin Bangladesh and Malaysia, the Regency Hotel Kuwait, and Kempinski Kenya and Djibouti. His most recent role was serving as the Italian Master Chef for Kenya and Djibouti, starting in July 2017. 

A graduate of C.A.P.A.C. in Milan, Chef Carmine De Filippo holds a comprehensive diploma in culinary techniques. His commitment to the culinary arts aligns with The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel and Residences's focus on delivering luxury and dining excellence. 

Taking charge of the Italian cuisine offerings at the hotel, Chef Carmine is expected to bring authentic Italian flavours and innovative techniques to the table. The addition of Chef Carmine contributes to the hotel's ongoing efforts to establish itself as a notable player in the hospitality industry.
