IndiGo has announced the launch of daily direct flights connecting Bengaluru, Karnataka, to Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, starting December 31, 2024. This new route aims to enhance regional connectivity and promote tourism and pilgrimage to Ayodhya, a city of significant spiritual importance as the birthplace of Lord Ram. Additionally, IndiGo will resume its daily flights between Bengaluru and Gorakhpur, effective the same date.

Bengaluru serves as a major hub for IndiGo, offering over 200 daily departures to numerous domestic and international destinations. Ayodhya, located along the Sarayu River, is known for its historical and cultural significance, attracting visitors interested in its temples and rich heritage.
