In less than 18 months, the airline has transitioned all its data centre-hosted workloads to a cloud environment, underscoring its commitment to leveraging modern technology to stay ahead in the fast-paced aviation industry.
This strategic move enhances IndiGo’s scalability, performance, and agility in customer service, representing a substantial leap in the company’s technological capabilities. The migration was meticulously planned and executed, involving extensive testing and careful management of key elements such as cost optimisation, cloud-neutral automation, FinOps, and the re-hosting of applications onto leading container platforms.
