IHCL forays into Ranchi, signs a Taj

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Taj hotel in Ranchi, Jharkhand. This greenfield project, marking IHCL's foray into Ranchi, is set to be developed on a six-acre land parcel leased from the State Government of Jharkhand.

The hotel’s prime location in Dhurwa, offers excellent connectivity and visibility. The 200-key Taj, Ranchi will offer guests a range of modern amenities, including extensive banqueting areas, a diverse selection of food and beverage options, and a well-equipped wellness centre. Ranchi is witnessing significant infrastructural developments aimed at transforming it into a smart city. The hotel’s location within the Core Capital Area will place it in the heart of the city's new central business district, in proximity to the Vidhan Sabha, government offices and corporate headquarters.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have six hotels in Jharkhand including one under development.
