Hyatt Regency Pune promotes Vikram Singh as Head Pastry Chef

The Hyatt Regency Pune announced the promotion of Vikram Singh to the position of pastry chef. This move comes as a recognition of Chef Vikram Singh's exceptional culinary skills and unwavering dedication to the art of pastry and bakery. 

A seasoned culinary professional, Negi, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. His solid educational background and years of hands-on experience in the culinary industry have equipped him with outstanding skills in menu planning, staff training, and the maintenance of impeccable hygiene standards. 

Chef Gopi, Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency Pune, expressed his excitement about Negi's promotion, stating, "We are delighted to announce Vikram Singh's promotion to the role of Pastry Chef at Hyatt Regency Pune. In his previous role as the Sous Chef (Bakery and Pâtisserie) at the Hyatt Regency Pune, he played a pivotal role in supervising the operations of coffee shop restaurants, banquets, and the cake shop. Notably, he excelled in maintaining food costs, introducing innovative buffet setups, conducting comprehensive staff training sessions, and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene practices. His ability to efficiently manage inventory and plan diverse menus ranging from fine dining to contemporary pre-plated and bulk cooking has set him apart as a culinary innovator. 

Before joining Hyatt Regency Pune, Negi gained valuable experience as a chef de partie at Hyatt Regency Chandigarh and The Grand Mercure in Bangalore. His journey in the culinary world began with a hotel management diploma from the Time Institute of Hotel Management in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He further honed his skills during a six-month industrial training programme at Hotel Gold Finch in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
