Hyatt Regency Dehradun names Sahana Dutt Bose as Director of Celebrations
The Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa has appointed Sahana Dutt Bose as the Director of Celebrations. With a career exceeding two decades in the hospitality industry, she brings extensive experience and expertise in sales leadership and event management to her new role.
Bose's proficiency in account prospecting, client relationship management, negotiation skills, and strategic team development has garnered widespread recognition. Notable achievements include her role in the launch of The Taj Taal Kutir Convention Centre and her leadership in the Catering Sales Department at Taj City Centre New Town, where she formed the sales team during the pre-opening phase.
Sumit Kumar, the General Manager of Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa, expressed his satisfaction with Bose's appointment, stating, "We are pleased to introduce Sahana Dutt Bose as the newest addition to our team. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and a Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from the Institute of Advanced Management in Kolkata. Her experience as a wellness and lifestyle coach includes roles at The Oberoi Amarvilas, ITC Grand Maratha, Hyatt Regency Mumbai, Swissotel Kolkata, The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat, and ITC Sonar, Kolkata. Accomplishments include setting annual objectives for catering teams, boosting sales across multiple properties, and introducing successful sales and pricing tactics.
