Grand Hyatt Mumbai introduces ‘The Grand Showroom’, the new event space that redefines luxury in India’s celebrations landscape. This venue is designed for immersive experiences, blending grandeur, theatrical design, and high-end luxury for both intimate and large-scale events.
Inspired by the magic of theatre, The Grand Showroom aims to turn every event into a live, unforgettable performance. At its core lies a live culinary stage, where dining becomes an interactive experience that delights the senses. This one-of-a-kind space is perfect for grand events, from luxury weddings and corporate events to high-profile social gatherings, all under the timeless hospitality of Grand Hyatt Mumbai.
Reflecting Mumbai’s iconic Queen’s Necklace, the venue’s design features a chandelier that adds a warm, elegant glow. The space is enhanced by dramatic lighting, a high-tech sound system, and modular seating options, allowing customisation for grand banquets or intimate gatherings. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by a marquee and a thoughtfully designed foyer, ideal for networking and socialising.
Andreas Stalder, Senior Vice President of Product and Brand Development, Hyatt Hotels - Asia Pacific, said, "The Grand Showroom distinguishes itself not only within the Hyatt portfolio but also on a global scale. While Hyatt has developed remarkable luxury event spaces worldwide, the Grand Showroom stands out with its immersive, cutting-edge design, versatility, and unique experiential offerings. Hyatt venues are renowned for their food and beverage showmanship, but the Grand Showroom elevates this by introducing innovative, 'never seen before' luxury event formats. We have prioritised design and operational flexibility to ensure it remains at the forefront of luxury event trends for years to come."
The highlight is a live culinary stage, where chefs create dishes right before guests, adding an engaging touch to every event. The venue’s advanced audiovisual systems make it ideal for everything from corporate presentations to live performances.
The launch event featured mesmerising performances by acclaimed musician Shankar Mahadevan and actor Boman Irani, capturing the essence of the space. Guests were treated to a culinary journey curated by Lead Chef Neeraj Tyagi.
Robert Dallimore, General Manager, Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel & Residences and Area Vice President, West India, said, “The launch of The Grand Showroom marks a significant milestone for Grand Hyatt Mumbai’s legacy in the country. We aim to create an environment that not only reflects our guests’ elevated lifestyles but also ensures every event leaves a powerful impression. At The Grand Showroom, we are committed to delivering exceptional experiences that embody the timeless elegance of the property.
