Grand Hyatt Mumbai has announced the elevation of Chef Rakesh Kamble to the position of Executive Sous Chef. Chef Kamble, a stalwart member for nearly two decades, has ascended through the ranks with unparalleled dedication and culinary prowess.

Having joined the Grand Hyatt Mumbai team as a Trainee Chef in the Banquet Kitchen, Chef Kamble's journey exemplifies commitment to excellence and a relentless pursuit of culinary innovation. Over the years, he has showcased commendable leadership and proficiency, earning accolades and admiration in the hospitality industry.

In his current role as Executive Sous Chef, Chef Kamble serves as the second-in-command to the Director of Culinary, overseeing the daily operations across Banquet Kitchen and Signature restaurants at the property. His responsibilities extend to menu conceptualisation for weddings and corporate events, meticulous supervision of food preparation, and the curation of exquisite culinary recipes. Renowned for his innovative recipes and adeptness in navigating culinary trends, Chef Kamble ensures the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

These include Asia's Longest Table 2012, ten seasons of Lakme Fashion Week, and prestigious collaborations with renowned conferences like NASSCOM, India Today, HICSA, Indian Economic Forum, and high-profile celebrity weddings such as Deepika & Ranveer, Ritesh & Genelia and many more.

Chef Kamble's culinary journey is further fortified by his academic and professional achievements, having completed a Craftsmanship Course in Food Production & Patisserie at the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, in 2005.
