Goa Tourism has been awarded the Best Pavilion Award at the India Travel Mart (ITM) Amritsar 2024. The award was presented by Ajay Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director of India Travel Mart, and accepted by Deepak Narvekar, Deputy General Manager of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), and Rodlin Mascarenhas, Assistant Director, Department of Tourism, Goa.
Goa’s pavilion stood out for showcasing the state’s cultural heritage, regenerative tourism efforts, and diverse travel experiences, drawing attention from visitors and industry leaders. The recognition highlights Goa's focus on promoting sustainable tourism, in line with the vision of Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte to present Goa 'Beyond Beaches.'
Speaking on the occasion, the Director of Tourism, Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, remarked, “Winning the Best Pavilion Award is a testament to Goa Tourism’s dedication to continuously elevating our tourism offerings. ITM Amritsar has provided a valuable platform for us to engage with industry leaders, share our vision of regenerative tourism, and promote Goa as a destination that balances growth with sustainability.”
