Flight Centre Travel Group India Launches FCM Incoming, Appoints Prashant Narayan as Country Head

AUSTRALIA-HEADQUARTERED Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG),
one of the world’s largest travel companies, announced the expansion of their
portfolio in India with the launch of FCM Incoming. Focusing exclusively on
inbound travel, FCM Incoming will curate and create signature leisure travel
experiences in and around the Indian subcontinent, including Nepal, Sri Lanka
and Bhutan.

With this launch, FCTG India also announced the appointment
of Prashant Narayan as Country Head, FCM Incoming. In this capacity, Narayan will
be responsible for brand expansion with a specific focus on building inbound
holiday solutions for individual and group requirements of leisure travellers.
He will be leading a newly-structured team of members possessing over two
decades of domain expertise in inbound travel. 
Speaking about the launch, and welcoming Narayan, Rakshit
Desai, Managing Director, India, FCM Travel Solutions and Flight Shop, said

Narayan joins FCM incoming with an experience of over 22
years within the service industry. Prior to this, he was associated with Thomas
Cook, as COO – Inbound Business and was also a Member, Executive Committee,
Thomas Cook (I) Ltd. His experience straddles the financial services as well as
the inbound business, and gives him an overall perspective on the travel
industry, having run retail as well as B2B businesses.

FCM Incoming’s itineraries for group departures and
individual holidays in the market have been designed around cultural tours,
festivals, wildlife, local community and CSR activities, cruises and themes
like golf, photography, yoga and culinary experiences.

The network in India
encompasses key locations including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Cochin, Agra, Jaipur,
Varanasi and Goa in India as well as associate offices in Sri Lanka, Nepal,
Bhutan and, Maldives.
