Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata has appointed Subarna Bhattacharjee as its new housekeeping manager. With over 13 years of experience in hospitality management and staff training, Bhattacharjee holds a bachelor's degree in hotel management and tourism from Annamalai University (Bengal Nalanda Group). In his role, he will focus on overseeing housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas, without the use of glorifying language.

Bhattacharjee's responsibilities include supervising budgets for guest rooms and cleaning supplies, fostering communication with the front office for operational efficiency, and handling guest concerns. His extensive career has seen him progress from a housekeeping assistant to his current leadership role at Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata. His professional journey includes contributions to establishments such as Taj Chandigarh, Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar, Swissotel Kolkata, Fraser Suites Dubai, Ambuja Neotia Hospitality, and Vivanta Jammu City Centre.
