IN ORDER to make travel easy for corporate travellers and digitise the process of MICE, Foxtrot Interactive is an app that facilitates the large-scale organisers and corporates to plan travel. The app is a new age concept, facilitating the delegates by providing the information regarding itineraries, visa processes, dos & don’ts for a trip by using their own user id.
Founded by Naasir Merchant and Unmesh Vaidya, Foxtrot Interactive is a solution for all backend problems that both organisation and travel agencies face in managing MICE for any corporate, impacting the end users.
"When an incentive group travels, it’s not just the 200 or 300 delegates travelling, its also their ego’s that travel & if the back end is not up to date & well versed, there ought to be an escalation which hinders the relation between the three parties involved. This is when we identified the gap and realised the need to create such platform," says Naasir Merchant, Co-Founder Foxtrot Interactive.
According to Merchant, there are two to three companies in India who are making similar apps but they are doing this as one of their businesses, not their only one. They (the competitors) have basic features which address very few pain points.
With Headquarter in Mumbai, Foxtrot has sales team spread across Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and Ahmedabad. It is White label app that turns Brick and Mortar Model of MICE to something which is futuristic and trendy.
"In India, fortunately people are not averse to change especially technological. As it’s a White Labelled App, it is designed as per the preference of the buyer. Foxtrot App is the solution for multinational conglomerates, organisers to create a paradigm shift & being an absolute game changer," says Merchant.
The app so far has served over 19 clients which includes Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance, Edelweiss Tokio, Axis Bank, Bajaj Electricals & Akbar Travels amongst others, and have catered to 5390 attendees till now.
Speaking about the value of MICE in market, Unmesh Vaidya, Co-Founder Foxtrot Interactive quoted the IBTM report of Barcelona 2016, "based on the report MICE this year will grow at 15 percent over last year. Every organiser or corporate planner are looking for new things to lure their users & prove a point to their management, but slowly the drift is changing & people are understanding the importance of technology."
"Today it’s the event app, tomorrow we would have the campaign management of every corporate on an app, right from live tracking of sales to comprehensive data & graphs for a particular campaign. This is a new wave which will be there for a good three to five years & no better place than India for this. Foxtrot will play its own part in this digital transformation," Vaidya added.
