The restaurant embodies the spirit of creativity, refinement and cultural heritage, symbolising how Tansen's music surpassed temporal and geographical limitations, aiming to honour his legacy and bring his spirit of creativity and refinement by curating an everlasting encounter that seamlessly blends traditional ambience with utmost culinary brilliance, tantalising the taste buds of food connoisseurs. 

The dining experience at Tansen is like dining above the running water where the raag of the musical notes reflects on the sandstone 25 ft tall walls of the place. The ambience is reminiscent of Mughal courtyards, with wall engravings at the entrance. As you step in, you are enveloped in the soothing scent of specially crafted attar known as Gulmahal, a deep woody aromatic rose fragrance curated by the artisans and infused into the air conditioning to transport one to a bygone era of opulence and grandeur. To further enhance the experience, the staff graciously offers a subtle application of this exquisite fragrance on your wrist, inviting you to indulge your senses in the awaiting delights. And for hydration, you get gold water with 24-carat edible gold flakes, setting the tone for a truly regal dining experience.
