A graduate of the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (IHM) Bangalore, Chef Sougata has built a formidable reputation over the years. His journey began in April 2009 as a Kitchen Executive Trainee at The Chancery Pavilion Bangalore.

Chef Sougata's career is marked by his roles at some of the most prestigious hospitality brands. He has served as Executive Chef at Courtyard By Marriott Colva Goa, Fairfield by Marriott Goa, and Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park. His broad spectrum of roles across these esteemed establishments underscores his versatility and unwavering commitment to culinary excellence.

In his current role at Hyatt Centric Ballygunge, Chef Sougata is involved in meticulous planning of menus, standardising recipes, and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and quality.
