Chef Deva Kumar has been Appointed the Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency, Chennai

HYATT REGENCY Chennai has appointed appointment of Chef Deva Kumar as the Executive Chef. He brings with him over 16 years of hospitality experience and will be seen overlooking the kitchen operations in the hotel.

Chef Deva started his career with Oberoi Hotels and then later moved on to work with distinguished hotels such as The Park Bengaluru, Courtyard Marriott, Park Hyatt Chennai, JW Marriott Mumbai and Crowne Plaza Chennai Adyar Park. He has successfully designed and executed invigorating food and beverage concepts and has worked with numerous diverse chefs from around the world.

Being a travel enthusiast, Chef Deva influenced his culinary skills in a substantial way and created flavorful combinations to impart a unique quality to dishes. Through his culinary journey, Chef Deva has received eminent awards and won himself quite a handful of accolades.

South India, the city that exudes Art & Culture, has certainly left an impression on our Chef. While he continues to dominate the kitchen, Chef has trained himself in playing Tabla and Violin to pursue his hobby. 

In his leisure time, Chef enjoys spending time with his family, go for drives and ride bikes.
