Himanshu started his journey in hospitality as a Management trainee at Mahindra Holidays, Mumbai, later he moved on to being Duty Manager at The Zuri Hotels and St Regis Goa Resort. In his previous stint as a Director of Rooms at Hyatt Regency, Kolkata, West Bengal, Himanshu spearheaded the operations of the Front Office, Spa & Fitness and travel arrangements with unparalleled success. He orchestrated a remarkable 226% growth in Spa & Fitness Revenue and achieved a record-breaking 94% in Quality Assurance Audit. Notably, he pioneered the introduction of an EV fleet, marking a significant milestone in sustainability efforts.
Kala's record of strategic planning and management extends across various positions, including Front Office Manager at Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Kolkata and Jaipur, where he consistently elevated guest satisfaction scores and revenue performance. He is highly recognised for his ability to foster inclusive work cultures and drive staff engagement, as evidenced by his success in reducing attrition rates and achieving unprecedented upsell revenues.
As the Director of Rooms at Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, Kala will leverage his knowledge to uplift guest experiences, optimise operational proficiency and uphold the highest standards of service. His expertise lies in customer service, office management and administrative support.
