Atmosphere Kanifushi will host its fourth edition of the ‘Just Veg Festival’ from October 21 to October 26, 2024. The event features Italian Chef Fabrizio Marino, known for his innovative and healthy Italian cuisine, who returns from Tuscany to present a limited-edition menu focussing on vibrant plant-based dishes.
The festival’s hub will be the JUST VEG restaurant, the first purely vegetarian restaurant in the Maldives. Guests can enjoy artistic, gourmet meals complemented by expertly paired wines, all while taking in stunning views of the turquoise lagoon.

Highlights of the menu include a coconut foam appetiser, lemon-infused gnocchi, and caramelised aubergine, each paired with selected wines. Chef Fabrizio expressed his honour in returning and his commitment to showcasing the richness of vegetarian culinary options. The festival is a testament to the growing popularity of flexitarian diets among guests, reflecting a broader trend in dining preferences.
