Arpit Pant appointed Director of Business Development for Ascott International

CapitaLand Investment Limited's premier lodging business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), announced the appointment of Arpit Pant as the Director of Business Development for the Indian Subcontinent. This strategic move marks a significant step towards expanding Ascott's presence and offerings in the dynamic Indian hospitality sector. 

Arpit Pant, a seasoned veteran with over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, is set to take the reins of this important leadership position. Having previously worked with renowned establishments such as Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, and Preferred Hotels, Pant brings a wealth of expertise in business operations, asset management, business development, organisational setup, and regional roles across diverse markets. 

In his new role, Pant will lead Ascott India's strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing its portfolio of offerings and expanding its presence in the burgeoning Indian hospitality market. His vision and leadership acumen will be pivotal in driving Ascott's growth plan in India as he identifies new business opportunities, fosters partnerships, and drives revenue growth. 

This appointment comes on the heels of Ascott's acquisition of Oakwood, which has added six new properties to their existing portfolio in India, spanning across the cities of Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai. 

Arpit Pant will work closely with the executive team, overseeing comprehensive business development strategies and focusing on innovation, elevating customer experiences, and ensuring sustainable growth. His appointment further underscores Ascott's commitment to the Indian market, following the recent addition of Anand Rai as Assistant Director of Business Development.
