Amit Sawant elevated to Associate Director of Events at Hyatt Regency Pune

Hyatt Regency Pune has announced the promotion of Amit Sawant to the position of Associate Director of Events. Sawant's career began at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai where he embarked on his professional journey as a trainee in food and beverage service and banquet sales. He then moved to Trident Nariman Point, Mumbai, where he served as a banquet sales assistant for a year. 

His career trajectory continued its upward climb at The Leela, Mumbai, where he took on the role of Banquets Sales Executive. His drive and determination were evident as he transitioned to JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, progressing from Assistant Sales Manager to Sales Manager. It was here that he began to distinguish himself in the realm of event management, particularly in handling large-scale events.

His role as Sales Manager in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Team at The Lalit Mumbai showcased his ability to manage extensive events with precision and finesse.

Before his current promotion, Sawant served as Events Sales Manager at Conrad Pune and later as Senior Sales Manager Events at Hyatt Regency Pune. His innovative approach, coupled with a deep passion for the food and beverage function within the hospitality sector, has made significant contributions to each organisation he has been a part of. His promotion to Associate Director of Events marks a significant milestone in his career, and Hyatt Regency Pune looks forward to his continued contributions and leadership in his new role.
