Vikas Chadha Wins CFO Award From CIMA

VIKAS CHADHA, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, Berggruen Hotels Pvt Ltd was recently awarded the Most Influential CFOs of India award by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA). Chadha was recognised for his contribution to the Business and Industry and represented the hospitality industry among stalwarts from across Industries at the event.

Chadha is a Dynamic Management professional with nearly two decades of experience having handled varied roles across sectors including FMCG, Services, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Travel. He has been instrumental in setting up processes, guiding start up’s, raising funds in India and internationally and working on Turnaround and Profitability enhancement strategies.

Chadha has been part of the leadership team at Berggruen Hotels for the last five years. He has been closely involved with development initiatives on all fronts including building of the owned asset portfolio and subsequently working on the asset light strategy for management and franchisee hotels. He has worked extensively to evaluate the various growth options and has finalised hotel expansions in line with the company strategy.

Chadha is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Cost Accountant from ICWAI; he has nearly two decades of experience in finance, business planning and strategy. He has worked extensively with start-up ventures, focusing on their turnaround and profitability enhancement. He has been an active speaker at various leadership forums and has been actively involved in representing the industry on various economic forums.
