TreeHouse Hotels & Resorts, owned by Karma Hospitality LLP, has introduced a new brand called hi-way MOTELS, aimed at addressing the needs of the expanding road travel market in India. With the country having the second-largest road network in the world, there is a growing demand for affordable lodging options.
The hi-way MOTELS will be strategically located along highways and expressways, as well as near smaller towns and city bypasses. These modular motels will feature ground-plus-one structures with comfortable rooms, modern bathrooms, family accommodations, and complimentary parking for guests.
In addition to basic amenities, hi-way MOTELS will provide electric vehicle charging stations, dining options such as "hi-way Dhaba" restaurants, and facilities like paid parking and car wash services. The brand aims to meet the evolving needs of travellers while offering attractive investment opportunities for partners with land near expressways.
Ajay Mehtani, Partner, TreeHouse Hotels & Resorts, said "TreeHouse Hotels & Resorts' decision to enter the motel space is a strategic move that capitalises on a significant gap in the Indian hospitality sector. hi-way MOTELS by TreeHouse Hotels focus on affordability, convenience, and modern amenities positioning it to cater to the growing demand for comfortable and budget-friendly road trip accommodations.
