TBO Group Announces TBO Cruises and Self-Drive in 2019

TBO IS ready to tread on the inorganic path to grow their footprint not only in India but also in emerging markets abroad.

Recently, TBO showcased its preferred hotels' portfolio for its B2B partners with a three-city mega road show. The roadshow saw participation from 30 hoteliers from Las Vegas, Baku, Dubai, Maldives and Thailand across New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. Brands like Deevana Group, Hilton London Metropole, Wynn Las Vegas, and Encore, Papillon Group, Tropical Escapes, Anantara Dhigu Veli & Naladhu Private Island Maldives, HotelBeds Group, V Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton, Pan Pacific Hotels Group were present in the capital.

Speaking at the roadshow in New Delhi, Ankush Nijhawan, Co-founder, Travel Boutique Online (TBO) Group said that TBO is now looking to aggressively expand its footprint in South East Asia through acquisitions. “2019 will see aggressive growth in India market in terms of B2B travel sector. Our goal is to scale up operations to more nations in the next 2 years. We are aggressively looking at China and APAC region that are fast emerging economies in the travel and tourism space. The vision is to accelerate the growth process through acquisitions,” he said.

Gaurav Bhatnagar, Co-founder, TBO Group added that the new products will be launched in 2019. “TBO will be launching TBO cruises globally and will focus on self-drive tours early next year, ” he confirmed.

In July, Standard Chartered Private Equity (SCPE) acquired Naspers’ stake in TBO Group that makes SCPE now own 49 percent of the stake vis-a-vis Nasper that earlier owned 52 percent with both co-founders currently owning 51 percent stake.
