Manish Sodhi Takes Over as General Manager of The Lalit Mumbai

Manish Sodhi has taken over as the General Manager of The Lalit Mumbai. In a chat with BW Hotelier Sodhi stated that the Mumbai hotel was a fantastic property. “It’s an established brand. I am only been here a couple of weeks to its to early to make a comment, only after the first month would I know what I will focus on,” he said adding that like every hotelier he would be looking at revenue, cutting costs, enhancing service and of courss the brand.

Sodhi holds a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Administration from Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal and has also completed Masters in Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI, USA. He has a total work experience of 16 years. His Last assignment was with Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai and Aamby Valley City, Lonavala as General Manager. He has also worked with brands such as The Leela Kempinski, Mumbai & Westin Waltham Hotel, Waltham, MA, USA. He started his career with Sheraton Braintree Hotel, Braintree, MA, USA as Outlets Supervisor.
