LEMON TREE Hotels Limited announced its latest signing – Bhangeri Durbar Resort, operated by Lemon Tree Hotels, at Nagarkot in Nepal. The resort will be operated through its subsidiary and management arm, Carnation Hotels Pvt. Ltd. The hotel project, owned by Bhangeri Durbar Resort Pvt. Ltd., is expected to open by early 2021.

The resort is spread over 4 acres of beautiful landscaped terrain. It features 51 well-appointed rooms and lavish suites, a multi-cuisine restaurant, a thriving bar, well-equipped banquet spaces, a heated swimming pool, a rejuvenating spa, and a terrace deck. Set in the lap of a dense forest area, rich in mountain medicinal herbs and other flora and fauna, the resort also offers a spectacular view of the Himalayas, including the five highest mountain peaks of Nepal, viz. Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Mt. Makalu and Cho Oyu, as well as panoramic views of the stunning Kathmandu valley. The property falls within the famous Panoramic Hiking Trail of about 15 kms from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel, and is named after the historic Bhangeri Durbar Palace, which was built by King Chandra Samsher over a century ago, and is located just 1.5 kilometres from the resort.
