IndiGo, has entered into a strategic partnership with global travel technology leader Amadeus, making its New Distribution Capability (NDC) content accessible to travel sellers worldwide through the Amadeus Travel Platform. This collaboration will enable IndiGo to expand its reach to new markets and customer segments, enhancing the airline’s competitive edge.
With Amadeus’ NDC capabilities and its extensive 96 per cent global market coverage of NDC-ready travel sellers, IndiGo aims to boost ancillary sales, streamline operations, and improve customer experiences. The partnership allows corporate clients and travel agencies direct access to IndiGo’s full range of products, offering exclusive deals and promotions tailored to individual traveller profiles. The airline, expected to carry over 110 million passengers in 2024, has one of the largest aircraft order books in the industry, positioning it for continued growth and success.
IndiGo’s adoption of NDC technology shows its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, empowering travellers with more informed choices and a seamless booking experience. The airline is already fully live with NDC 21.3 distribution capability, handling bookings from travel agents across Singapore, UAE, and Africa.
