Hilton has unveiled its first flagship property in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) with the grand opening of Hilton Gurugram Baani City Centre. The hotel, developed in partnership with Baani Group, marks Hilton’s second collaboration with the group, following the successful opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square. The new hotel's opening is well timed to capitalise on Gurugram's booming commercial and residential market, which has experienced substantial growth over the past decade. With its population of 1.5 million, robust infrastructure, and status as a major business hub, Gurugram has emerged as an attractive destination for business and travellers, and an important hub for MICE events. The opening underscores the brand’s commitment to meeting increasing demand in one of India's thriving cities.
Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, Hilton, South Asia, said, "The accelerated infrastructure development in Gurugram over the past decade has established the region as a prime hub for corporate enterprises and real estate developers, making it an ideal choice for Hilton's strategic expansion in North India. The launch of Hilton Gurugram Baani City Centre represents a significant milestone in our growth story within the NCR region. This opening reaffirms our commitment to India’s vibrant hospitality sector, especially in major metropolitan areas. I extend my gratitude to our partners at Baani Group for their continuing trust in us. The swift progression from signing to today's opening demonstrates our strong partnership and shared vision for excellence."
Strategically located next to Baani City Centre in Sector 63, the hotel is at the heart of the city's bustling commercial landscape, within 24 kilometres of Indira Gandhi International Airport and 14 kilometres from DLF Cyber City, a premier business hub housing multinational corporations. The surrounding area features corporate towers, upscale residential projects, and major business districts along both Golf Course Road and Golf Course Extension Road. Guests can also easily access popular shopping and entertainment destination options.
The hotel features 223 rooms and suites with contemporary amenities and tastefully curated design elements that reflect the region's dynamic spirit. The rooms offer captivating views of both Millennium City and Aravalli Hills, along with options for attached balconies and lush private terraces. Designed by the renowned Bobby Mukherji Architects, the property exudes stylish minimalism complemented by the use of natural materials like Roman travertine stone with subtle, airy colour schemes.
The lobby’s striking design features a backdrop inspired by Corbusian architecture, with a captivating mix of travertine and backlit alabaster, creating a visually appealing contrast. The hotel's inviting spaces include an elegant patisserie, an all-day global cuisine restaurant with outdoor seating, and an intimate bar overlooking lush lawns. These views are maximised with expansive windows that bathe the interiors in natural light, while intricate patterns inspired by local artisans reflect a calm elegance.
The property offers numerous culinary destinations. Kitchen Craft, the all-day global cuisine restaurant brings authentic Indian, Asian, and Western specialties, along with theatrical live cooking and indulgent desserts. Tayles, the lobby bar, offers a carefully curated selection of regional wines and spirits. The drinks are complemented with an inventive food menu. The Patisserie, Café O Lait, with comfortable lounge seating, offers a relaxed environment, and a curated collection of artisan tea, single estate coffees and non-alcoholic beverages.
For meetings and events, the hotel offers 2,000 sq m of versatile space. This includes a Grand Ballroom, three executive boardrooms, a meeting room, an outdoor banquet terrace and poolside. The largest event space, combining the two ballrooms, spans 468 sq m and can accommodate up to 450 guests. Additional amenities include an Executive Lounge, CEO Lounge, an outdoor pool, and a 24/7 Fitness Centre, ensuring a complete range of facilities for business and leisure.
Virendra Bhatia, Managing Director of Baani Group, stated, "This collaboration builds upon our successful relationship, after DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square, combining Baani Group's expertise in real estate development with Hilton's world-renowned hospitality expertise. Hilton Gurugram Baani City Centre stands as a testament to our shared vision of creating spaces designed to not only meet but exceed the expectations of today’s travellers, ensuring a best-in-class experience in the heart of Gurugram.”
