CG Hospitality Forays into the Middle East with Taj Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai

NEPAL'S FIRST and only billion-dollar corporation listed by Forbes, CG Hospitality has signed an agreement with Tata Group’s hospitality arm, Indian Hotels Company Limited. Under the agreement, CG Hospitality will be managing the group's luxury hotel, Taj Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai, marking its first hotel in the region.

The group intends to invest in several more luxury properties in the region. “This venture marks the strengthening of our bond and global partnership with IHCL,” said Rahul Chaudhary, Managing Director, CG Hospitality. “Together, we are partners with IHCL in ten of their iconic Taj properties across different regions in the world, which have set new hospitality and luxury standards. We are confident that in Dubai, too, we will set new benchmarks in luxury hospitality. Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers Dubai will help us make deep inroads into an important Middle East market,” he further added.   

CG Hospitality began its journey partnering with Tata Group 20 years ago through their hospitality arm IHCL which owns the Taj Brand. This partnership has evolved over the years and CG Hospitality owns some of the most iconic assets globally with Taj Brands such as Taj Samudra, Sri Lanka, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa and Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa in the Maldives, Taj Safari Lodges, India, Vivanta Kathmandu, and Meghauli Serai, A Taj Safari.  

Rahul Chaudhary joined the already successful CG Corp Global in 2006 as Managing Director. Over the past thirteen years, the group’s portfolio has bloomed to its current monolithic growth by 4,300 per cent, with footprints in 20 countries.
