BluSalz Hospitality, known for unparalleled luxury and comfort experiences, has taken over the management of INDeco Leisure Hotels, a pioneer of rural tourism in India. Commenting on the collaboration, Steve Borgia, Founder & Chairman, INDeco Hotels, says, “INDeco hotels is happy to tie up with BluSalz to manage its hotels. We pioneer rural tourism but it seems to have stagnated in India. To take it to the next level we needed that push and I believe a group like BluSalz should be able to offer that.”
Borgia believes this engagement with BluSalz Hospitality will be able to make rural tourism network broader, place it on the global map and make it a luxury product. “We have the hardware, I think they will put the software and make it a luxury, experiential and emotional product. This will take regenerative rural tourism to the next level where the local communities will have lot to be offered to,” he adds.
“We joined hands with Steve to manage his properties, which will give us an opportunity to not only manage a completely different niche of hotels, but also a great opportunity to learn from his experience and the work which he has done over the past 30 years in terms of rural tourism. This is also a great opportunity for us to expand our footprint in South India,” says Sanjay Sharma Founder & CEO, BluSalz Hospitality. Additionally, Sharma wants to deliver memories to their guests. He says that every experience which they will develop must generate a memory into the mindset and nostalgia for the guests to remember, and to come back to them again and again.
BluSalz will start managing INDeco’s Lake Forest Hotel Yercaud from August 1, 2021 and the property will be called INDeco YERCAUD BluSalz Hotel. In due course, BluSalz will expand their footprint with other properties also within the portfolio.
“Any tourism that does not offer benefits to local communities is not fair tourism. That way, as a pioneer of rural tourism, INDeco is happy about this association and I’m sure it will show the way for many more such products,” concludes Borgia.
