AccorHotels Opens Vijayawada's First International Hotel Novotel Vijayawada Varun; 20th Novotel Branded Hotel in India

LEADING FRENCH hotel company AccorHotels on December 7, 2018, announced the opening of their 20th Novotel hotel in India, the Novotel Vijayawada Varun. The 227 keys property is deemed to be the first internationally branded hotel to open in Andhra Pradesh’s commercial centre.

Strategically located in the heart of the city, Novotel Vijayawada Varun is a 45-minute drive from the Vijayawada International Airport and only a 20-minute drive from the Vijayawada railway station. On the banks of river Krishna, Vijayawada is a city rich in mythological history, in Andhra Pradesh. It is the commercial headquarters of Andhra Pradesh attracting both business and leisure travellers.

Historically rich, the city is also addressed as Bezawada by the locals and is known for popular attractions like Kanaka Durga Temple, Undavalli Caves, Prakasam Barrage and Bhavani Island.
