FHRAI collaborates for Yoga Mahotsav 2024

The event aims to promote the benefits of yoga for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, with a focus on empowering women through yoga practice

The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), in partnership with the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) and the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has collaborated with Yoga Mahotsav 2024 to celebrate the International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2024. This year’s theme, "Yoga for Women Empowerment," highlights yoga's role in enhancing women's physical and mental well-being, ultimately fostering a greater sense of empowerment.

To kick off this grand celebration, FHRAI is hosting a pre-event gathering at the Radisson Blu in Goa on May 11, 2024. This gathering serves as a prelude to the larger Yoga Mahotsav, setting the stage for a global celebration of yoga's positive impact on individuals and society. During this pre-event, attendees will learn about the significance of the International Day of Yoga and the extensive programming planned for the June 21 celebration. Yoga Mahotsav 2024 aims to promote the numerous benefits of yoga for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. By raising awareness about the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life, the event seeks to inspire people to adopt a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

President of FHRAI, Pradeep Shetty, commented on the upcoming Yoga Mahotsav: "Yoga is not just about physical fitness; it's a way of life that brings balance, peace, and strength. This year, with the theme of 'Yoga for Women Empowerment,' we focus on the profound impact yoga can have on women's lives. We believe that when women embrace yoga, they gain the confidence to challenge societal norms and lead with authenticity."

Yoga Mahotsav 2024 will feature a series of events, including yoga sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and cultural performances, all aimed at highlighting the significance of yoga in promoting overall well-being. The event will also spotlight the stories of women who have found strength, confidence, and empowerment through the practice of yoga.

FHRAI extends invitation to all individuals, yoga enthusiasts, and media representatives to join the pre-event gathering in Goa on May 11 and the grand celebration on June 21.
