COURTYARD BY Marriott is launching a new fine dining restaurant Anise, at its property in Agra. Anise is a specialty restaurant, offering a delectable selection of authentic Awadhi and Northwest frontier dishes – kebabs, curries, biryanis and much more.
The open air restaurant, located on the ground floor of the hotel, will stay open only from November till March, according to a release. Apart from the regular menu, Table d'Hôte menu which offers a multi-course meal with select choices will also be available for connoisseurs wanting to savour signatures dishes prepared by Executive Chef Vivek Kalia, head of the Anise culinary team.
The ambience is warm and welcoming. Four gigantic mashaals hanging from the top of the entry gate of the restaurant regally welcome the patrons. Water fountains at the entrance and fire bodies strategically placed add to the grandeur of the restaurant. The hotel’s expansive lawn provides a beautiful backdrop. Surrounded by lush green landscaping, Anise promises to provide patrons a royal dining experience.

Executive Chef Vivek Kalia adds, “Now our guests staying at the hotel don't have to look far for great dining experience. They can enjoy our succulent kebabs, exotic curries and aromatic biryanis in the comfort and luxury of the hotel, at our new restaurant, Anise.”
The restaurant, open only for dinner, can seat up to 70 people.
