HOTEL PULLMAN, Aerocity is all set to host the culinary event of the hospitality industry at 7th IFCA International Chefs Conference (ICC) 2017, to be held on 1st, 2nd and 3rd September 2017. The iconic three day event will witness over 1000 chefs from India and abroad and 40 outstanding speakers who will partake 72 hours of knowledge in five different events.
IFCA’s 7th ICC will break new ground this year by presenting an entire range of knowledge dispersion from seminars to selections for International Shoulder Session, National Culinary Exhibition, Margarine Carving Contests and the Bocuse d’Or all India selection.
Speaking on the one on one session with the board members of IFCA, Dr Chef Soundararajan, General Secretary, IFCA said, “We trust that the conference will serve as a rewarding experience for all stakeholders, the delegates, the speakers, the corporate partners, friends, vendors and then some more.”
Members from countries like Romania, Jakarta, Magnolia, United States of America, Europe, Sri Lanka, Middle East and United Kingdom will be present in the three day gala event.
Chef Manjit Singh Gill, President, IFCA, expressed the need of chefs in the nation. “More and more people should join the profession of chef because the nation is in the need of it. We in IFCA are very positive and organic about our growth. We are paying more attentions to the young chefs, small hotels and small restaurant owners. We believe that we are in the best profession one can have.”
According to Chef Gill, this year’s theme ‘Indigenous knowledge.Sustainable Future’ will be the ideal platform for the nation’s enterprising and enthusiastic culinary professionals to update themselves on the current path breaking trends that are taking over India.
IFCA’s 7th ICC will also focus on pushing the name of Indian food to the historical heritage. “The major take away from the event will be to have pride while talking about Indian food,” says Chef Gill.
